Backcountry Bike and Bluegrass
Check out this great article from Sean at the Tahoe Weekly!
Music at the lodge is back by popular demand! Still FREE fun, but you’ll notice a couple differences this time around. In an effort to minimize user impact, we’ll be hosting 3 shindigs this summer. Expect an intimate gathering in the forest with friends, family, and acoustic front porch music.
Book your room early if you want to extend your adventure into an overnight or weekend getaway! 50% of your rate will be donated to the fundraiser.
Meet at the lodge around 11:00am on Saturday morning for a social ride on a favorite local trail. Riders will be able to ride at their own pace, keep going, or peel off and head back at their discretion. Head back to your car to grab your lunch, and end up at the lodge just in time for a picnic lunch and the live music. Riders should have water, stuff to fix a flat tire, and be confident on their bikes. Please show up a few minutes early to get your bike ready.
If you’d prefer to skip the bike ride, that’s fine, too. Music starts around 12:30
- You can find directions to the lodge here. Plan on the road to the summer parking area taking a good 20 minutes. Parking is limited- please carpool if possible.
As always, this event is FREE, but we will be taking donations for local organizations.

Tahoe Food Hub PitchFork and the Pan Pop up Dinner
We’re honored to be hosting a Pitchfork in the Pan dinner for the second year in a row! Come out, enjoy an amazing dinner and support a great non-profit. Consider staying overnight for a reduced rate of $120/room for the night!
“Help Tahoe Food Hub “Make the Move” to their new Truckee Warehouse by attending one of their Pitchfork & the Pan pop-up farm dinners. We bring the farm to you in three unique locations. Chef and farmer will work together to grow and prepare a 4-course meal filled with seasonal produce and proteins. Come meet the farmers who grow our food, hear their story and celebrate in the harvest! Each dinner will be at a unique location in North Lake Tahoe from wilderness settings to lake shore beaches. Guests will enjoy music by local artists and two glasses of wine (additional wine available for purchase) and beer. It will be an intimate dining experience with capacity for 55-65 people per dinner. Reserve your seats at the table today. Directions to each venue will be provided upon registration.
The 2018 Pitchfork & the Pan pop-up farm dinners are being held in conjunction with our Make the Move Fund-Drive. The Make the Move Fund Drive is helping raise $160K to build-out Tahoe Food Hub’s warehouse at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport set to open November 1, 2018. Each dinner provides an opportunity to not only learn more about where our food comes from but how the Tahoe Food Hub is working hard to create a network of small farms and create access to local food for North Lake Tahoe.”
2 rooms remaining.

Low Life Local Love
Do you live in a van down by the river? If so, we’ve got a special for you! We know how difficult it can be at times to make ends meet while living in our special place in paradise, and want to make sure our local community can enjoy the same things that all of our out of town visitors can, too. That’s why we are stoked to offer discounts to local Tahoe/Truckee residents year round. As long as you have a local ID, we’ll work with you. No real set price, more of a “what can you afford?” kinda deal. Come play!
